well hi everybody i wrote on here today but i but it in the guestbook by accident. wasnt looking at where i put it i just started writing and didnt realize where i put it until i saved it. just lost my head today. oh well. never said i was perfect far from it.  but that is ok i am me. but i am doing good. and koko is good. robbie is bored but he will get over it.  we are going to to out today. and hopefully get to come home next weekend. but wont know until i see doc monday. i will write more later Cindy

hi eveybody, i have been working hard at rehab. i am up to 2.0 on the treadmill. i can do almost a mile in 30 mins. before long i will be doing over a mile. it is getting easier everyday. i still hurt but not as much. i can move my arm and the swelling is almost gone. talked to my nurse she said that they might do another ultrasound in 3 months. so i have to take the blood thinner for 3 months. dont like that idea but i am dealing with it. i hate giving myself these shots. i am getting bruises real easy sometimes i dont even now where the bruise came from. they say that will happen.koko is doing good. we went to lackas house yesterday she got to play with the other dogs. she had fun. we went out to eat mexican and then to ben and jerrys it was very good.after lunch, went back to there house i was hurting a little so i took a pain pill and layed down for a little while. jesie and a little friend named marrissa just explored the house rozz told them they could. marrissa was with me because her mom got her call yesterday morning to go and get her new lungs. while she was waiting for them. they showed up at the hospital the docs checked them out and something was wrong, so she did not get them. this is called a dry run. so she is waiting again. this happens but not very often. i was lucky this did not happen to me. if things work out right i will get to go home in the next week or to on weekends only. but it is a start. robbie is trying to get home atleast everyother week for a couple of days if anybody would like to come and stay for a few days it would be a big help. jesica is staying once in a while now but she cant do it all the time. so i am asking friends and family if you might beable to stay for a few days to a week please let us know. i have to have someone here for the full 3months doc orders. if  you have questions about staying up here feel free to contact me. i will answer any question the best i can. talk to you all later    cindy

well hello everybody. i went to see the doc mon. i got good news and bad news. first the good. my lungs are working great. now the bad my right arm has been hurting since i left the hospital. last week the doc told me that it was just sore from the surgery. but this week doc looked at it said it was a little swollen. so he sent me for a ultrasound and found a few blood clots. now i have to take a blood thinner shot 2times a day.for up to 3months hopefully not that long. they postponed my lung test till next wendsday. to give the blood thinner time to work. the doc said that there is nothing to worry about this happens once in a while. just a small set back. but i feel good. just a little sore.   i like hearing from everybody so keep writing.  uncle jerry and brenda, dad and diane has my number if anybody want to call. i will return calls if you leave a message. i will return emails too. i will write more later cindy

Update 8/10/2009

well i thought i would let you know how things are going. i seen the doctor today and it was not all good. my breathing was real good. my new lungs are working great. but  i have been having some pain in my right arm. come to find out the pain is caused by blood clots. so the doc has put me on a blood thinner for a couple of weeks if not longer. so a little sit back but not bad. i feel good which is good. i am hoping i will get to come home soon. we should find out next week if i get to. at least for the weekends. but i should be home for good in oct. then i will have to make trips to st louis every few months for check ups. every thing is going good. koko is doing good lacka taught her a trick she will sit lay and roll over now.she loves going outside. and she thinks everybody is her buddy.haha she tryes to make friends with everybody and every animal she sees. she loves to car ride. well  i got some meds i have to take so i will  write you more when i know more.   cindy
